OUR MISSION
Here at the playhouse, our goal is to introduce children to music and life skills through the use of interactive lessons and activities, encouraging freedom of expression and individuality, thereby promoting creativity and confidence. We provide the tools and environment that engage growing young minds, seeking to enlighten as we entertain, encouraging a life-long appreciation for music and personal expression.
OUR HISTORY
Mama Pajama's Playhouse was created in 2000 when founder Kimberly Raabe, (Mama Pajama) recognized the need for children's entertainment with a focus on interactive music and stories, as well as relaxation during rest times. Once she began working towards her personal business, she quickly saw the demand for quality entertainment encouraging learning AND fun through interactive, imaginative storytelling, music, song, and movement. She also discovered a growing need for helping parents effectively conquer sleep issues that revolve around nap-time and bed-time by offering options and tools for relaxation and rest.
Mama Pajama's Playhouse maintains a strong focus in learning through imagination, creativity, relaxation, and play, utilizing interactive storytelling, music, songs, story boards, instruments and props. A Mama Pajama concert, story time, workshop, or event is sure to be an experience your little one(s) won't soon forget.
Mama Pajama's Playhouse provides services that advocate healthy attitudes regarding sleep (nap-time and bedtime) and hopes to assist parents who have concerns regarding sleep issues with their children.
Mama Pajama's Playhouse will offer public and private concerts, as well as fundraisers & charity events for small and large groups of any size in the future. In addition to both public and private parties and events, Mama Pajama's Playhouse will conduct workshops, story-time, and variety of concerts including the Lulla-Time Concert (A Mama Pajama Exclusive) with a focus on relaxation, perfect for the newborn, colicky baby, toddler, and child just looking for a relaxing start to rest time.
Mama Pajama's Playhouse has been a long, hard journey for its founder Kimberly Raabe. She is proud to officially open the Playhouse doors & services during the Fall of 2008. What is Mama Pajama's Playhouse? Mama Pajama's Playhouse offers children's entertainment with a focus on learning, fun, and relaxation for children newborn to five years old with a strong focus in learning through imagination, creativity, relaxation, and play, utilizing interactive storytelling, music, songs, story boards, instruments and props.
What services do they offer? Concerts, story times, informational workshops, private and public engagements.
Who is Mama Pajama? Kim Raabe is Mama Pajama, owner of Mama Pajama's Playhouse, who was born in Albany, NY and raised in Adams, Massachusetts "The Berkshires".

Will kids older than 5 like the music? Yes, our experience has been that children of all ages, including grown-ups, enjoy the music.
What is a Jammie Pal? An exclusive membership for fans & friends of Mama Pajama & Friends. We also refer to our puppets as our "Jammie Pals".
What is the Jammie Pal Club Membership all about? For a reasonable annual fee, you will receive exclusive benefits and discounts toward various Mama Pajama events. Please see our Jammie Pals page for more details.
Why are Playhouse Performances not open to the public? The Playhouse was created and functions as a way to offer a benefit to our members.
Do we offer sibling discounts? No, but we do offer a family rate for those who have 4 to 6 children.
What is Synergy? Synergy is an acoustic folk-rock duo which performs for grown-ups. The duo is comprised of Kim Raabe and Ann Wieder.
